New York educator and author Stockman shared a guest post from Ontario teacher-librarian/CSL Director Mulcaster detailing the “mindset” of makerspaces: the making, the sharing, connecting and reflecting using a four-part lesson framework.

Noted American teacher-librarian/educator/author Lagarde asks us to ponder four questions for evidence of how our spaces show that our work matters and makes a difference for students if a decision-maker was looking at funding the school library from what they view, even if the teacher-librarian is not present. “What does this librarian value? What happens in this space? How does what happens here impact student learning? Why do we still need libraries?” Lagarde shares several strategies/tips to answer.
