My First Ever (and hopefully not last) ABQLA Conference

The school librarian consultant at the Central Quebec School Board in Quebec City reflects on experiences at the 91st annual, L’Association des bibiliothécaires du Québec/Quebec Library Association (ABQLA) conference in the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles at the Centre des mémoires montréalaises (MEM). The theme “Can You Hear Me?” called attention to structural imbalances of voices in the GLAM sector – Galleries, Libraries, Archives & Museums. Highlights to key sessions attended included.
